Differences in Medicine
Another long monologue in which I talk about some of the more frustrating parts of my internship so far. I anticipated differences in medical tools, but not medical standard and it has weighed on me a lot during my last 5 weeks. I am still having an overall fantastic experience and am literally living my childhood dream seeing so many animals (a cheetah walks with me to work pretty much every day nbd). If most of what I say makes no sense to you, know that the core of the issue is that I want to provide the best care to all animals wherever I am in the world and feel like I haven't always achieved that here.
