Swakopmund and (almost) heading home
Vibes.

Recaps of a 16 hour day doing the annual water hole count, heading to the coast (Swakopmund) and feeling very ready to head back home where showers are a stable temperature.

Please enjoy this mini photo dump:

The sheep love me and I love them
Leo, me and Aryan admiring the sky as a squad
Giving IV fluids to a goat (sadly he did not make it but I'm really good at hitting goat jugulars now)
Drawing blood on a cheetah (unsuccessfully...tail veins are hard)
Drawing blood on a horse (I basically just draw a lot of blood every day if you didn't notice)
This was my view for literally 14 hours straight. I survived on RedBull (which gave me wings until about 3pm when I promptly crashed) and birds.
The squad in Swakopmund
Sunset on a beach
Waves on waves
I immediately got soaked by that impending wave but worth it
Where the dunes meet the ocean
I was very tired from running up the massive dunes
I mean ... look at that view
A throwback to Amy's cake before she left. She took photos on an old disposable camera so she just sent us the developed ones! The graininess is so charming it's giving nostalgia. I miss her a lot ☹️
