Off to prevent rabies!

A quick reminder, I am leaving tomorrow (Friday) to go on a 10 day rabies vaccination trip to the rural parts of Northern Namibia. Since I won't bring my laptop and will have pretty limited access to electricity to charge my phone, you won't hear from me in a bit. I'll tell you all about it when I get back and I'll talk about my research project which I did the initial assessment and data collection for today. Talk about a long day, I assessed 112 goats! Thoughts and prayers as a non-camping gal heads out into the bush to help some pups.

Sheep enjoying chin scratches
The sheep love chin scratches (peep the jealous sheep in the background waiting for her scratches)
Sparky the pangolin
Sparky the pangolin! The pangolin conservation centre doesn't have their own vet so we've been taking care of Sparky once a week cleaning his wounds (he got electrocuted) and passing a tube down his throat to feed him as he regains lingual (tongue) strength to eat on his own.
Sunrise in Namibia
A beautiful sunrise that (almost) made getting up at 5:30am worth it
